Amazon S3 arrives on Vercel Marketplace and v0

Amazon S3 is available through the Vercel Marketplace and v0 by Vercel, AWS said in an announcement published October 14, 2026. The integration covers S3 general purpose buckets, S3 Tables and S3 Vectors, bringing resource creation and connection into Vercel’s development workflow. AWS announcement

Provisioning moves into Vercel

AWS says the integration automatically handles resource provisioning and connection configuration. Existing AWS customers can link their accounts to use S3 with Vercel projects, while new AWS accounts can be created through Vercel. Provisioning and account details

Alongside general purpose buckets, developers can choose S3 Tables, which AWS describes as fully managed Apache Iceberg tables optimized for analytics workloads, or S3 Vectors, for storing and querying vectors at scale. The announcement concerns access to these resources through Vercel’s provisioning workflow—not a new storage engine. Resource options

Availability and introductory credits

AWS describes Amazon S3 on Vercel as “now available in all AWS Regions where Vercel is available.” The announcement does not enumerate those regions. Availability statement

According to AWS, new AWS accounts created through Vercel include $100 in credits valid for up to six months. The credits can be used across Amazon S3, Amazon OpenSearch Serverless and AWS Database services; they are not an S3-only allowance. Credit details

Easier setup still requires storage decisions

For engineering teams, the useful distinction is between provisioning convenience and storage selection. Bringing setup into Vercel does not make the three resource types interchangeable: choose around the application’s access patterns and query requirements.

Before adopting the integration, confirm availability for the chosen resource in the required AWS Region, review access permissions and data-retention needs, and estimate ongoing costs beyond introductory credits. Automated setup is a starting point, not a substitute for those decisions.
